Colossal Walkthrough : Stage 1

You are 'At the end of road' and as the first step you need to grab some stuff that you are going to need to complete the stage 1.
Go in to the house using 'Go in building' or 'enter building'. Then it will say that you have

• Keys
• Lamp
• Food
• Bottle

First thing that you must know is that the lamp is running out of battery when you keep it switched on and eventually the batteries will be dead and that is game over for you (Happened to me). So beware!!!
Pick up Keys and Lamp for now with the command 'take keys' and 'take lamp'. You don't need food and bottle to complete the stage 1. Don't worry you will get teleported in to the 'well house' later in the game with some treasury. Once you come back to the 'well house' you can add these items to your inventory. otherwise the game will say that you are carrying too much items and it is annoying. So only take Keys and Lamp and leave food and the bottle. Don't switch on lamp.

Type 'go out' to get out of the building once you fetched those. Then type 'go south' and enter. You will move one block to the south and it will show that you are in the valley. Then again go south and now you are in ' AT SLIT IN STREAMBED'. Go south once more and now you are at the 'OUTSIDE GRATE'. If you went to the forest or got lost type 'go end of road' and hopefully you will be moved to the starting location.

Quick Note : You do not always have to type 'go north' and 'go south'. Instead type

• s (for 'go south')
• n (for 'go north')
• e (for 'go east')
• w (for 'go west')
• ne (for 'go northeast')
• se (for 'go southeast')
• sw (for 'go southwest')
• nw (for 'go northwest')
• d (for 'go down')
• u (for 'go up')

When you are at outside of grate type 'unlock grate with keys' and it will unlock the grate. The grate will be unlocked. Now you are ready to enter the caves. READY???. Type 'd' and now you are below the grate. Now type 'w' to go into the 'Cobble Crawl'. It will tell you that you can see a 'small wicker cage' near you. Take the cage and go west (At this moment I hope that you are familiar with basic commands :D).

As soon as you go west from the 'cobble crawl' the game will say you that it is pitch dark and you cannot see a thing. Now is the best time to light your lamp. Use 'Switch on lamp' or 'light lamp' command. As soon as you light up the lamp you can see a magic word on a wall and a three foot long rod with a star. This rod is a magic wand (Yes Harry Potter stuff). Go ahead and take the rod. Now say the magic word ('say xyzzy') and you will be teleported to the 'well house'. Once you are in the 'well house' type 'inventory' to see your current inventory.

Stage 1 is Completed!!!
